Position Available:
Receptionist/Legal Runner
Job description:
Responsibilities and Duties
- Greet clients and visitors, providing a positive first impression and directing them to the appropriate meeting room.
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and ensure timely communication with clients and staff.
- Maintain client confidentiality and uphold the firm’s privacy protocols at all times.
- Perform administrative duties and assist with copying, scanning, and other general office tasks.
- Deliver court documents to various locations (i.e., courthouse, law firms, government agencies, etc.), and run various errands at the post office, bank, etc.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably within a law firm or legal environment, is preferred.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and law office procedures is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using office software, including word processors, spreadsheets, and email.
- Capable of handling sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Candidates must demonstrate a strong track record of reliable attendance and punctuality.
Pay
This is an entry-level position ($12-$15 per hour). Pay will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Work Hours
Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
Probationary Period
We are seeking a dependable individual who prioritizes punctuality and commitment to their work schedule. Employment will be subject to a probationary period during which your attendance, performance, and suitability for the role will be assessed.
